Replaceable Flow Paths

Replaceable flow path is an aerodynamic unit of compressor consisting of stator and rotor.

The stator includes an inner casing, reverse diffusers, volute, and labyrinth bushings. The rotor is represented by a shaft with installed impellers and balance piston. The impellers are of closed type consisting of the base disk with vanes and covering disk.

TECHNICAL DATA

  • Capacity: up to 40 million m3/day
  • Discharge pressure: up to 120 bar
  • Drive power: up to 25 MW

  • 25 MW gas turbine drive, “unified” casing
  • 16-18 MW gas turbine drive, “long” casing
  • 6.3-8 MW gas turbine drive, “long” casing
  • 16-18 MW gas turbine drive, “short” casing
  • 6.3-8 MW gas turbine drive, “short” casing

DESIGN FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

  • The flow path is engineered for the casing size used by the customer
  • The flow paths has a flat performance characteristics by applying a vaneless diffuser providing wide operation range with high efficiency:
    • Line compressors: 0.84-0.85
    • Boosting compressors: 0.77-0.80
  • The flow path is based on the high-efficient compression stages
  • Technical data is confirmed during the tests both at manufacturer's and customer's facilities.
  • The flow path is replaced on the operation site
